This blog may contain affiliate links to relevant products. An affiliate link or code will direct you to another website where, if you make a purchase due to my referral, they may give me a small percentage in return for directing you to their website. This is never at any additional cost to you, and some affiliate links or codes may actually give you a discount — I’ll make this clear in the post if it’s the case!
For example, I am a member of the Amazon Associates program. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
These links are always relevant to the topic at hand and do not affect my recommendations. I generally don’t even add them until after I’m already done writing a post, and I go back and put them in organically; i.e. I don’t bring up a product just to sell it, and I don’t go looking specifically for items I can link to as I write just to make a false recommendation.
I would never intentionally deceive my readers by saying a product is good when I know it isn’t just to get the commission for it. Links will always be for either a recommendation or to enrich content (such as linking to a product I’m not recommending so you can examine it in detail yourself). If you’re ever unsure of whether I intend to recommend a linked product, please just ask in the comments if I am unclear.
